1 Million Teachers Program
1 Million Teachers has partnered with TC Continuous Improvement Consultants to provide professional development resources to teachers in Zambia through the Learning Peak Initiative.
1MT aims to close the gap in teacher shortage – estimated at 69 million globally (17 million in Sub Saharan Africa where the shortage is most severe – and where 1MT is currently focused on) by 2030. The project goal is to attract new young teachers to the profession while simultaneously training and motivating existing teachers to increase their professional capacity and enhance the learning outcomes of their students.
How can teachers participate?

STEP ONE
Subscribe to the program and get your account. No pre-requites or cost attached.

STEP TWO
Complete the belts systematically. The program follows a karate structure starting with a white belt through to a black belt, 11 belts in total organized around Personal Effectiveness and Leadership, Pedagogy.

STEP THREE
Teachers who complete the black belt program receive a certificate of recognition and have life access to their dashboard and additional professional development resources.
